10 Gorgeous Winter Wreaths

It is officially mid-January and I still have a holiday wreath up. AND dead dying poinsettias on display. It’s time to update for the season. I was really loving my berry wreath this holiday season but now that I’ve been having to look at it since the day after Thanksgiving I’m ready for it to be put far away.

So – time for a new post-Christmas winter wreath. And yes, I’ll be getting rid of my sad poinsettias too. Now for the real question, what should we replace it with? Definitely something seasonal – always. But I also want it to last until Spring. 

The next holiday is Easter but that is too far out to start decorating. Other than that, there aren’t really any holidays coming up to consider. Unless you count Valentine’s day. Speaking of which, do you? like – Do you decorate your home for Valentine’s day? I’m sort of on the fence about it. However, I am reconsidering now that I have a little person’s life experiences to be partially responsible for. 🙋 I will definitely make time to decorate for Easter – don’t worry, you’ll hear all about it soon enough. 🙄

Front Door Wreaths

Some people hate them. Some people love them. I, for one, LOVE them. IMHO there is nothing simpler, yet festive inducing as a good wreath. To me, it says I’m current and I know what day it is – I swear I really do! That’s a weird thing to think, isn’t it? Hm well, I’ll work on why I love them so much and get back to you. 

In need of some inspiration for my own front door, I took to Pinterest to discover all the great ideas for a perfect wreath for January.

Time to choose

I now have so many ideas for what to create for our front door. After all, its the first thing someone sees before entering your home – make it look nice. Do it because you care. Does anyone else look at all their neighbor’s houses when you go for a walk? It is probably one of my favorite things to do. I just love getting new ideas! Maybe that’s why Pinterest is effing addicting. 💀

So, off to Michael’s we go! I like to take little miss in her stroller and walk down there (and look at everyone’s houses on the way 😬) Thankfully we live walking distance and I rationalize since we’re getting some fresh air it’s okay to do something fun for myself too. I’ll update you as soon as I come up with something amazing.
