A Tropical Rainforest Bridal Shower

This tropical rainforest-inspired bridal shower is truly near and dear to my heart. My stepmom created this beautiful event in my honor. I chose only the theme and she took it from there! I had it in my mind to do an elegant and fun tropical rainforest bridal shower. Some of my fondest childhood memories were on the island of Maui.

When I was growing up we would go to Hawaii almost every year for vacation.

As a child, I loved hiking to and swimming in the Pools of ‘Ohe’o (aka Seven Sacred Pools) in the rainforest of Maui and all the beautiful flowers you encounter on the hike. (The Pools of ‘Ohe’o in Kīpahulu are CLOSED indefinitely due to safety concerns with landslides. 😢 ) I love those memories so much that for my bridal shower, I wanted a rainforest garden that meets an elegant ‘Hawaii’ theme.

This tropical rainforest-inspired bridal shower features over-the-top exotic floral centerpieces and a custom 2-tier cake. The clubhouse island style was taken to the next level with a tropical oasis of blooms. I am so excited to share this memorable day of my life with you!

This gorgeous floral arrangement bursting with tropical blooms transformed the simple sitting room. Placing favorite personal photos on display is a reminder of the special celebration of love and the exciting upcoming marriage.

Community Clubhouse Rental

My beautiful apartment-complex clubhouse provided the perfect space for my bridal shower. Would you like to know the best part?! There was no charge for residents! And luck would have it that the decor went with our theme. Score!

Place Settings

Burlap favor bags topped with artificial orchids graced each place setting. Partygoers found tropical-inspired bath and body works products inside the adorable drawstring bags. The modern square rattan chargers mixed effortlessly with the vibrant coral cloth napkins. This tablescape was the perfect accent to this tropical rainforest bridal shower.

Orchids in the Base – Tropics on Top!

Over the top centerpieces were the talk of the town at this tropical rainforest bridal shower! Tall glass cylinders encased fresh purple orchids while an overstated arrangement towered above the table. The arrangement consisted of assorted pink, yellow, and purple orchid varieties, tropical pink ginger flowers, orange stargazer lilies, and rainforest-inspired foliage.

Fresh Fruit Display

Fruit platters are always a crowd favorite! This delicious tiered display of fruit was the perfect healthy snack for party goers to nosh on!

Tropical Cake

A two-tiered custom cake was designed especially for this tropical rainforest-inspired bridal shower. The dark teal frosting and buttercream hibiscus flowers made this cake a sweet addition to the shower.

Coral Drink Charms

Real glass champagne flutes topped with fresh strawberries were an elegant touch for this homemade event. Purchased from the dollar tree, such a small investment added a truly professional element to the event!

Custom matching coral drink charms were fun and charming tokens for guests to track their bubbly and doubled as an adorable extra party favor.

Champagne for the Girlies

I enjoyed popping the first bottle of bubbly in celebration of such a special day! This custom bridal sash was my favorite accessory of the day. The tropical floral brooch really added that extra festive touch that I was simply crazy about!

Party Prizes and Guest book spoons for a future wife

Guests wrote special notes to the bride on wooden spoons. If you are wondering about those gorgeous gifts, I’ll let you in on a little secret. We take our games very seriously around here! Prize winners took home beautifully theme-wrapped gifts to remind them of the fun and memorable day!
